RESSURECTION - The Ultimate Gift

Alleluia, Alleluia The Lord is Risen, He is risen indeed. Alleluia. This is the greeting the early Christians gave to each other on Easter Day. The Resurrection is the central certainty of the Christian faith. God in Jesus, in humankind made the ultimate sacrifice on the Cross for the redemption of us all. As the words of the Eucharist reminds us 'one perfect sacrifice.' Death is defeated, sins acknowledged and forgiveness sought will be forgiven. This is surely the ultimate gift from God. Let us all strive this Eastertide to live rejoicingly by sharing this gift with those with whom we come into contact in our daily lives. The kind word, the smile even a moment of time allow the touch of God both for us and for others, because Alleluia The Lord is Risen. He is Risen indeed. Alleluia.
