Whether for wedding ceremonies in churches, town halls or hotel venues; for the drinks receptions or for late evening entertainment, our harpers are equipped with a very broad repertoire appropriate for all age groups.

The idea of having an Irish harp playing background music in the course of a wedding is novel and adds a particular memorable and charming aspect to your special day. Our harp music suits all tastes and our players are always delighted to perform special requests. A wedding day offers three particular situations where you might like us to perform.

The Wedding Ceremony:
In a church, hotel, private venue or registry office, all religious denominations, secular ceremonies and musical interests are catered for. It is normally Janet Harbison who would look after the wedding services as she has a very wide experience and is always amenable to assisting clients with advice on all options and possibilities you might like to consider appropriate to each denomination. Janet is also a highly accomplished pianist and organist and is happy to lead the congregation on the organ or piano if preferred to the harp. To assist couples with some of the more popular choices for music with the harp at your wedding, we have produced a Wedding Music Album (a high quality cassette recording) for you to listen to at your leisure. We charge £7 for this cassette, but it becomes our gift to you with your wedding booking. We are also quite happy to work with other performers (singers or other instrumentalists) whom you may wish to include in the wedding combination of our members would be happy to play for the pre-wedding service engagements, but any one or combination of our members would be happy to play forhte pre-wedding half-hour and/or during the registration.
