Janet has been
performing for most of her life. In her early career she travelled
the world as a solo artist or as a guest artist with Comhaltas
Ceoltoiri Eireann concert tours. She has collaborated with, arranged
music for and performed with many major artistes including Sir James
Galway, The Chieftains, Brian Kennedy, Frank Patterson, Dé Danann,
Davey Spillane, Oisín, Alan Stivel and Delores Keane. She has played
for many state visits of royalty, Presidents and Ambassadors from
all over the world and most notably for 3 American Presidents in
Ireland as well as the US.
While enjoying solo performance in her one woman show, Janet takes
great pleasure in performing with the Harp Orchestras which she
founded as a means of providing a professional performance
experience for her students. She takes her professional touring
company ‘The Irish Harp Orchestra’ on tour internationally each
year. Over the past twenty years Janet solo or with the orchestras
has performed in practically very major concert venue and festival
on the Island of Ireland, the UK, the USA as well as mainland
Europe.
